Posting cadence is the rhythm you publish on: daily, three times a week, weekly, whatever the schedule is. Two honest principles govern it, and neither involves a magic number. First, consistency compounds, because both audience habit and your own writing muscle build on rhythm, and a modest pace held for a year beats a heroic month followed by six silent ones. Second, there is no universally correct frequency: the right cadence is the highest one at which your quality floor holds, and that differs by person, season, and how much raw material your work generates. Publishing below your own quality bar actively costs you, since mediocre posts train people to scroll past your name, which is the exact opposite of the goal. The practical approach is unexciting and works. Commit to a floor you can hit on your worst week, batch drafts ahead so the streak survives busy stretches, and only increase frequency when ideas genuinely outrun slots.
