The service
LinkedIn Buddy provides free career and writing tools, content libraries and guides. Everything is provided as is, with honest effort and without warranties of any kind. The deterministic tools are built and tested to be exact, and we treat deviations as bugs, but no outcome (interviews, offers, reach, rankings) is promised anywhere, because nobody can honestly promise those.
Your content and results
What you type stays yours. What the tools produce from your input (drafts, rewrites, reports) is yours to use, edit and publish without attribution. You are responsible for what you do with it: fill the [bracketed placeholders] with your real facts, and do not publish claims about yourself that are not true. The tools are built to refuse fabrication; the final honesty is yours.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to harass people, to generate deceptive content about real persons, to spam, or to overload the service. The AI endpoints are rate limited (10 requests per 10 minutes per visitor) to keep them free for everyone; circumventing limits or scraping the AI endpoints is not acceptable use. The content libraries may be read and used for your own career materials; republishing them wholesale as your own content is not okay.
Third parties
AI tools are processed via a model provider (Anthropic) under their commercial terms; hosting is by Cloudflare. External links, including sources and LinkedIn help pages, lead to sites we do not control. LinkedIn is a trademark of its owner; this site is independent and unaffiliated with LinkedIn or any employer, recruiter or platform it discusses.
Changes and contact
Tools and content evolve; material changes to these terms or the privacy practices show up on these pages with a new date. Questions and corrections go through the contact page.
